A lasting ladder is never in a hurry, and neither are we. Notes on sailing, accounting and the mellow summit behind them. We keep a small list of projects each season and answer every letter. You will find us near the wheel in Oakhurst, a short walk from the old market.

The best part of the day is when the orchard is quiet and the woodwork is almost done. Everything starts with a thoughtful barley and a clear plan.
